Q: Are you accepting new patients?

A: Yes, new patients are always welcome and scheduled without delay.

Q: What insurance plans do you accept?

A: We accept Aetna PPO, Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Cigna PPO, United Healthcare PPO, Private Health Care Systems (PHCS) and Medicare.

Q: I do not have insurance, how much is it for an initial office visit if I have to pay cash?

A: An office visit can cost anywhere from $200.00 to $725.00 depending on extent of injury and treatment required.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards.

Q: Do you accept Workers' Compensation Insurance?

A: Yes, Dr. Berliner and his staff are very experienced with the Workers' Compensation rules/laws.

Q: What are Lone Star Orthopedics’ hours of operation?

A: Monday through Friday, 8AM-5PM
We are closed for the following holidays:

  • Good Friday
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day (and Friday)

Q: When is Dr. Berliner available to schedule patients?

A: Monday’s and Thursday’s at North Freeway from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM and Wednesday’s and Friday’s at Gulf Freeway from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Q: Does Dr. Berliner treat minors?

A: Yes, Dr. Berliner treats minors 2 to 18 years of age.

Q: Does Dr. Berliner do physical examinations for sports?

A: Yes, just bring the forms to your appointment that is required to be filled out by your athletic department.

Q: Do you provide transportation?

A: Yes, we provide transportation in the Houston area.
